In everything give thanks
Don't worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving...
My brethren, count it all joy when you encounter various trials
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts...and be thankful
GRATITUDE,
It's an attitude of my heart
Only God can discern that condition
Over and over in His word, He invites me to clothe myself with thankfulness
Unfortunately,
too often I'm so self-focused that I lose sight of His goodness
Things don't go as planned
Expectations aren't met
I don't get my way
Struggles surround me and temptations overwhelm
But I have found that no matter how bad a situation may seem, how difficult the path in front of me, how frustrating my circumstances; there is always something for which to be thankful. If I can look beyond myself, let go of my pride and my selfishness, and take hold of God's goodness; perspective changes and my spirit is lifted. And I can praise Him!
God is faithful

merciful
unchanging
mighty to save
a shelter from the storm
life
light
living water
creator
sustainer
healer
tender
helpful
shepherd
protective
and always full of
GRACE
